On this page are links to Q&A Interviews I have done for people over the past 3 years. Feel free to read my thoughts by clicking on the linked images but also please look through the webpages of the people who have taken an interest in what I am doing and consider my journey in the wider context of the (travel) community which we are all either physically or socially part of.
An Interview With Amna Abdhulla (Circling Around Places).
It was a joy to be able to show some solidarity with the young women of Pakistan and be able to share my experiences of travelling solo with them. A great many thanks to Amna for facilitating this.
What I seek: ‘People, places, and the connections in-between.’ Hi. I am Amna Abdullah and you are reading my stories. From whirling around places to reading through spaces, from photographing pretty features to documenting complex design, from writing about ventures to making sense of the art, from traveling and exploration, to enjoying a good life, ‘Circling Around Places’ is an extremely typical Pakistani blog, for your daily dose of inspiration of architecture, design, art, travel and lifestyle.
Interview with Kavita of Educating Kavita.
Meeting Kavita in Beijing was amazing. Her enthusiasm and energy for sharing her journeys is inspiring and I was very flattered that she was interested in my journey. Thank you Kavita!
“Welcome to my blog. Allow me to take you on a journey of a lifetime; a journey that will test my knowledge, capabilities and my need for adventure. Some have labelled this journey as an “opportunity”, others have called it “career suicide”… and I guess the only reasoning I could find to silence the negativity was this quote:
“For a seed to achieve its greatest expression, it must come completely undone. The shell cracks, its insides come out and everything changes. To someone who doesn’t understand growth, it would look like complete destruction”– Cynthia Occelli
Q&A Interview with Paul Everitt (Going Solo)
To be honest I never thought to have my name in such incredible company! Paul does an amazing job of collating adventures from all over the world and packaging them in an accessible format to make them all the more digestible and most importantly get out and doable! Thanks so much for the opportunity Paul! As ever the questions people ask open my eyes as much as theirs as I consider things from fresh perspectives!
The notion behind Going Solo comes from the realization that whether we travel alone or with others we’re continuously experiencing our own journey as we take on life’s unknown adventures. At going solo we aim to be a community for those who have a spark for adventure and are looking to be inspired by one another. We encourage others to share their own expeditions alongside Going Solo’s own to help expand us into a thriving community and hub for those who are involved in the adventure world. Be a part of the adventure!
